Six reviews of one page of this site gave marks from 23 to 27 out of 36. How AI roles and I looked for the cause, and what I decided myself.

Two shorter entries

An ergonomic configurator

It began as a way to set up my own home office properly and became a shipped product: an interactive tool where you enter your desk, chair and screen measurements, and it grades the setup and walks you through the fix. Version 5.1.0 was promoted to production on 18 July 2026, and Lighthouse scored the live site 97 on mobile and 99 on desktop. Only one version is ever live, and no version is deleted.

The current release candidate, version 9, passed all 1,311 of its own test assertions on 27 September 2026. Seven review passes then found 50 blocking problems the tests had not looked for. A restored scenario harness went red on its first run, and held at zero on 28 September after six defects were fixed. Version 9 is not cleared to ship.

What it proves

The method carries a product to production, and a green test suite shows only what it was written to check.

A retirement-planning demonstrator

A retirement-planning dashboard, now offline, built to show financial advisers what a client review could look like, with demo clients only. The first full build landed on 18 July 2026, in English and Afrikaans. The most useful finding came from two engines that disagreed: one compounded monthly at a twelfth of the annual rate, the other geometrically, and over 33 to 41 years the drift flipped two verdicts.

On 1 August 2026 the suite passed 25 of 25 checks while five high-priority defects were live, one of them a data-exposure defect. An earlier build was online from 21 July 2026 and was taken offline on 30 September 2026. The current build has not been published.

What it proves

A passing suite shows that what has been written down is still true. It does not show that the build is sound.
